The "Why"
Location: Hosted at Bucking K Ranch - 3438 Bear Canyon Circle, Sedalia CO 80135
About: During this clinic we will be discussing a topic many don't care to consider. Have you ever asked why someone did something, and there response was, "That's how it's done" or "That's how I was taught". Understanding why we do everything we do with horses is critical. We will discuss the biomechanics of the horse, the mechanics of bits and tack, mechanics of our riding, common practices for training horses, and how understanding The "Why" can exponentially improve our horsemanship. If you have a specific issue with your horse, we encourage you to bring them as this will be a time to reflect and evaluate each participants way of doing things.
Price: $150 per day for horse and rider, $25 spectator fee/day

Fundamentals of Horsemanship
Location: Hosted at Castlewood Equestrian Center - 5525 E. State Hwy 86, Franktown CO 80116
About: Michael will be teaching the groundwork techniques critical in building a finished bridle horse. These techniques will address a horse yielding to your space, never walking on top or in front of you, bracing, bolting, bucking, spooking and many other common issues. Horse and horseman of all levels welcome.
Price: $100 per day for horse and rider, $20 spectator fee/day
